    About Guarantek

    GuaranTek Analytical Labs specializes in meat testing, municipal water testing, and human breast milk testing.  Since 1995 GuaranTek Labs has tested beef, pork, lamb, and poultry for the absence of antibiotics, pesticides, steroids and other growth promoters, as well as microbial screening for pathogenic and non-pathogenic bacteria in food products and production lines.  During this time we continued to expand our testing capabilities into other areas to include nutritional analysis, human breast milk testing, and eventually water quality testing.

    We are currently accredited for chlorinated hydrocarbon analysis (pesticides) by the USDA-FSIS ( http://www.fisis.usda.gov ) and undergo routine blind performance evaluations to maintain our accreditation.  Our microbiology lab is an AOAC ( http://www.aoac.org ) proficient lab and undergoes routine proficiency testing through AOAC.  Currently we are seeking certifications in several areas in nutritional analysis and hope to be certified by the spring of 2003.  Our recently completed water lab is also seeking State of Colorado certification and should be certified by early spring 2003 as well. All methods employed by GuaranTek Labs are AOAC, USDA-FSIS, BAM, APHA, and EPA approved.
