About GuaranTek Labs

1. Where are you located?

We are located about 5 minutes north of downtown Denver with easy access to either I-25, I-70, or I-270.  Our address is 5300 N. Franklin St. Denver CO 80216.  For driving directions please click here.  For other questions please call us at 303-293-2157.

2. What are your business hours?

We operate in a 24/7 capacity depending on customer needs.  General business hours are from 7am-5pm but we are often staffed beyond these hours to accommodate certain tests and sample drop off times.

3. How can GuaranTek help my operations?

GuaranTek Labs can provide a "one-stop" testing facility for your food products. We apply new technologies and methods to give you accurate results as rapidly as possible. In addition, we can provide environmental testing of food and non-food contact surfaces, airborne bacteria, yeasts and molds.  Our microbiologists can also evaluate the production floor and suggest environmental sampling plans.

4. How do I order tests?

Complete the sample submission form and include it with the sample(s) to be tested.  All submitted samples have specific size, type and preservative requirements to remain valid for testing.  Also, if the samples is being delivered by the customer during off-business hours, please call 303-293-2157 in advance to establish an approximate delivery time.

5.  How do I know what tests to order or what methods to use?

Our project managers can assist you with potential tests and what method would best fit your needs.

6. The test or method I need isn't listed what should I do?

Please call us at 303-297-2157.  Often there are several methods that can be used for a test and it is impossible to list them all.

7. When can I expect results?

Turnaround times depend on the test being performed.   Please call 303-297-2157 for a price list with approximate test turnaround times.  Generally, for the most indicator micro-organisms, the typical turnaround times is 48 hours and 4-5 days for yeast and molds.  Results for pathogenic organisms, depending on the organism being tested, can be delivered in approximately 8-21 hours for rapid methods and 28-54 hours for BAX-PCR methods.

10. Are my results shared with other labs or companies?

All sample submissions, results, and customer information are kept in the strictest confidence.  In addition, GuaranTek Labs will not sell or release any customer contact information with any research organizations or trade groups.

11. How do I receive results?

Results are sent by either fax, USPS, Fed-Ex, UPS, or e-mail, and only to the customer information provided.
